:::Boom Boat: iphone game redesign and new graphics:::

This is one of the most exciting projects I was assigned during the last month, as I redesigned the updated version of Boom Boat, a fantastic puzzle game available in Apple AppStore.

Rob Foor from Razoric company asked for some graphic elements to be redesigned and we ended up creating a brand new look for his game. The result is great and the new updated version waits for all the iphone gamers to test their skills on new puzzles.

The official press release says:
An unknown menace is lurking at the bottom of the sea. Cold, ruthless and calculating they slowly plan for the world's ultimate destruction. We have only one hope left...

Boom Boat v1.1 Details:

Tilt controls for movement
Physics based puzzle gameplay where you blow stuff up, knock objects over and use gravity to your advantage.
60 levels with three challenge objectives per level. Can you get all 180 stars?
Game Center support: 35 Achievements and multiple leaderboards. Additional achievements will be added through free download content in future updates.
HD Retina Display for iPhone 4

Below you can see some comparison screenshots between the old and the new version which features graphics in Sounas style.

Here are some more screenshots and graphics from the updated version:

:::MonsterUp new themes and a new monster character:::

I and Marios Karagiannis from KariosGames are currently working on the new upcoming game "MonsterUp Adventures". This game is an exciting project and I'm very happy to create such cute graphics for another Windows Phone 7 game. The upcoming game features many new themes, storyline and new characters which make the game far more exciting than users can expect. It's really addictive!

But while part 2 is still under production, Marios had an excellent idea to expand the themes for the current MonsterUp game. So I created two brand new themes for our players and a new monster: Siil (a seal-like creature). I would like to thank you all blog reviewers and the buyers for their kind words about my game graphics.
Wow! We get 10s almost on every review and sales are rising day by day!!!
Wait for the upcoming MonsterUp sequel, which features great new art in Sounas style.

:::TOP 5 Handset OEMs 2001-2010 infographic:::

This is one of my favourite projects I recently worked on, assigned by VisionMobile.
It's a great infographic showing all the sales for Handset OEMs from 2001-2010.
The sales figures is beyond imagination but the most important fact is:
Nokia has never fell from the 1st place during the last decade.

This is amazing because Nokia is my favourite company and I always used Nokia handsets only
(though I don't like mobile phones at all).

:::Android game graphics (sample previews):::

Well, during the last month I have worked on a bunch of new projects including many games.
This time I post some preview graphics  for an upcoming Android game featuring what else: monsters!
I think clients love my design style when I create monsters and they keep contacting me for similar characters.
I will post more details as soon as the game is available :)
Little Monsters

:::Condom animation:::

This is a short video I created showing valuable info about the condom's right use. I think it's very educating for all of you but above all it's very funny to watch. I loved this happy project!
I decided to have a happy approach for it, so people don't feel awkward while watching.
The character animation was created in Flash, final composition and direction in After Effects.

:::Nokia and Winows phone 7 platform:::

That's great news, folks!
Nokia's upcoming smartphones will feature Windows Phone system from now on.
I have checked windows Phone 7 and although it's still in pretty rough phase, I think it will turn in a great platform. Especially when Nokia installs WP on their handsets, there will be an overall boost to the Microsoft's App Marketplace. This is very interesting for me as I' m currently expanding my portfolio on Windows Phone game graphics via KariosGames game company. MonsterUp is already having a great success in WP Marketplace and I' m waiting for more!!!

So, how did people see this partnership?

:::Upcoming MMO iphone game (preview graphics):::

Here's another exciting iphone game I' m currently working;
a MMO game in Haypi Kingdom style but I visualize it in a more interesting and whimsical style.
I can't tell more details for now but I post some sample graphics I have created in my usual 2D style :)

:::Pitch illustration for ipad game:::

Lately, I'm involved more and more in game graphics and this is a pitch illustration I created for an ipad kid game for Peakaboo Games.
It's lovely and I really like creating graphics for kids.

:::Monopoly Android character illustration:::

Yep! This is a happy Monopoly Android robot and it's ready to enjoy the money you feed him.
Another great illustration I created for VisionMobile's post " The Android Monopoly and how to harness it!".

:::Illustrations for Buyitonme.com:::

Here are two exciting illustrations I created for Buyitonme.com explaining how this website service works. It was very interesting to create characters which deliver the message properly in a happy way.
