Here's another detail from the decoration illustrations I have created for Extreme Brands fashion shops in Chania, Greece. I will post photos of the printed designs as soon as possible.

:::Lost in Lust by Sounas:::

My new creation is called "Lost in Lust" and was created in Photoshop with my usual techniques.

A lot of layers in various blending modes and some typography. I will post a short tutorial about this soon, as more and more people ask me to show my techniques.

Designtendencies.com recently added Sounasdesign.com to their web collection, which features various artists from all over the world. I can call it a nice inspiration of art library, where you can find amazing creations.

:::Wall-e & Space Alone:::

Recently I watched the trailer of the Pixar's upcoming animated film: "Wall-E".

It seems to be a promising film and very succesful as the previous ones. Besides I'm a big fan of Pixar's creations as they have great animation techniques and interesting story plots. What's more surprising with Wall-e is some similar story elements in common with "Space Alone", though Pixar's main story is totally different. But it's great to see someone else to have this passion about the loneliness in space and people's effort to get in touch with other.

Wall- e will be released during Summer 2008 and I'm eager to watch it!!!

People's Choice: Space Alone - me :)

I have to admit I liked all the submissions (one of my favourites was "The Idiot" by Michael Socha) and I'm looking forward to TGSNT VI.

So, Space Alone has won the recognition of People's Choice along with some cool prizes from various sponsors and I guess this was the final contest Space Alone was submitted to. There's a new story under developement at the moment and soon my third animation will be available at various websites.

:::Extreme Brands project:::

I' m currently working on a great project as I'm creating a variety of decoration illustrations and designs for three shops of fashion chain Extreme Brands in Crete, Greece. Soon I will post some photos with the printed designs and the great new shop look.

:::Computer Arts 147 featuring Ilias Sounas:::

My short animated movies have been included in the latest issue (147) of Computer Arts DVD.
There you can find "Space Alone", "The Circle of Life" and "Grafistas TV" commercial along with the "More Color" illustration in the Exposure section. There were some really nice comments by the magazine's editors and thanks everyone for the mails I've received.

By the way, great new look for Computer Arts!!!
